Procurement Day Final Report now available

Momentum continues to grow, barriers continue to fall, communication continues to expand and understanding continues to be fostered. Those are just a few of the growing successes as the Procurement Project partners, including CDAO, hosted another successful Ontario Procurement Day. More than 100 influential construction, design and procurement professionals came together in the spirit of collaboration for a candid discussion of the issues being faced by all sides of the procurement equation. The second annual event focused on how to deal with the multifaceted challenges of Risk in the procurement of construction and design services for public infrastructure projects. Procurement Day took more of an educational tone as attendees participated in case studies, learned about recent developments with the Canadian Construction Documents Committee work and analyzed some key sections of CCDC 2.
