Mission
The Construction and Design Alliance of Ontario (CDAO) is a forum for discussion, development and advocacy of the broader construction industry's issues related to provincial government policy, legislation and/or regulation. The Alliance will develop consensus opinions and recommendations which will be properly supported by appropriate research and information and presented effectively and professionally to the government.

The Construction and Design Alliance of Ontario (CDAO) is a collaborative organization of associations with mandates related to Ontario’s infrastructure.

CDAO’s primary goal is to provide municipal and provincial governments a collective forum to seek input and advice from stakeholders whose collective vision is to ensure Ontario is a province of livable, marketable, sustainable communities and to ensure that Ontario is a province known for its leading edge infrastructure and built environment projects.

CDAO Member Associations support fair and competitive tendering processes and proactive, planned investment in Ontario’s infrastructure. We encourage a minimum ten-year investment strategy and urban plan.

To encourage dialogue, CDAO will periodically host symposiums or events and provide research reports.  Please visit our news tab.
